Can you see what the eyes say?
Do you feel that which is within?
Are you able to sense what they convey?
Words of truths are spoken from the eyes
Wherein those spoken from the mouth may be untrue
Look deep beyond the surface on one that you see
That is where their heart and soul comes into view
Search the heart for its closeness to purity
Rebuke the ones that carry too dark a stain
For they may have untold secrets buried deep
That once uncovered could bring you great pain
Take not for granted the warmth it may project
Listen well to the words from one's heart you receive
Words spoken from one greatly stained could mislead
Venture carefully; for you it may try and deceive
The heart and soul of one must be searched out
What a person is on the surface may be a disguise
Allow their eyes to speak, look not at them but through them
Finding the inner being of person can prove to be wise
