Nature's Beauty

While along the river bank I walk
Nature's beauty presents itself to me
Inviting me further into its depths
Spectacular views are now before me

The water churns across the rocks
Lost in its own world running free
The sun's reflection dancing about
The shimmering water beautiful to see

I hear the roar of a waterfall just ahead
It's calling out unto these woods I roam
Speaking with force to those that near
This is sacred land, this is nature's home

In this place I wish you and I could be
So calming and safe here we would feel
Together experiencing the life of nature
Here everything in our heart's we could reveal

A breeze gently passes through the tree branches
Mingling all about in a soft whispering sound
Again I can hear nature as it speaks to my heart
Within this land beauty and peace is found

I walk further along, nearing the water fall
Standing on the cliff and looking out so far
I see the land so pure as it was meant to be
A heavenly place man's machines have yet to mar

I long for you to be here by my side, standing so close
Once in this place all of life's problems are left behind
At least for the time while we are in nature's home
Love, serenity and breath taking beauty we would find
